The NL Pure is the first completely new binocular from Swarovski since the introduction of the EL back in…well… a long, long time ago. The EL has reigned supreme for closing in on two decades because no one could build a better binocular, so Swarovski did it. The new NL pure is that good, it is better than the best.

I have been using the NL Pure 8×42 for over a month now. As beautiful as the optics are, the ergonomics are even more impressive. The curved design offers multiple surface angles for your hands offering a custom feel regardless of your hand size. The NL Pure has a removable headrest similar to the one on the BTX dual eyepiece. To be totally honest, when I first saw the headrest I thought it would be useless, but I couldn’t have been more wrong. The extra point of contact it provides offers substantially more stability.

The NL Pure will be available in 8×42, 10×42, and 12×42. While the NL Pure image resolution is essentially perfect, but the most impressive feature is the extended field of view (FOV). Every extra foot of FOV will equate to more animals found, especially when mounted on a tripod. Outdoorsmans will have a custom tripod adapter available by the time the NL Pure is ready to ship (September 1, 2020).
